This Friday, May 3rd, I’ll be in Boston for Making Media Now, the annual conference from Filmmakers Collaborative. This is my first time attending, but the event has a reputation for highlighting the latest challenges and opportunities in the independent media community and for providing a valuable forum for networking and learning, so I’m excited to experience it. I’ll be speaking at the first panel of the day, which explores how interactive documentaries are transforming the film industry and connecting subjects, filmmakers, and audiences in novel ways.
